The Dungeness River Nature Center is sustained by individuals, foundations, and grantors who support environmental education, who simply love the outdoors, who or enjoy the Center as a gathering space for events, classes, lectures, and field trips on a variety of topics that are nature related.

A reoccurring donation, even just $20 a month, adds up to a lot by year’s end! The River Center’s online donation site takes all credit and debit cards and is 100% secure.

We are delighted by the numbers of people who visit and use the Park and the Center. However, the demand for classes, environmental education, and safe accessible recreation spaces has outpaced the Center’s ability to meet these vital community needs.

Exciting Days are Ahead for Railroad Bridge Park and the Dungeness River Nature Center if we can raise funds to improve and increase our potential to serve Olympic Peninsula residents and visitors. Funding to sustain the Center and Park comes from individuals and organizations that support our mission and the legacy we are building. Won’t you contribute to preserving these vibrant community resources?

All gifts are tax deductible by the extent of the law. The River Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax id #91-163294.

Legacy Circle

Details

In 2013, the Dungeness River Nature Center established a Legacy Circle. Membership in the Circle is open to those members and donors who have included or intend to include the Center in their financial or estate plans. Such gifts sustain ongoing operations of the Center and Railroad Bridge Park and ensure that generations of children and adults will have an opportunity to learn the importance of protecting and enjoying the Olympic Peninsula’s unique natural and cultural resources.

Large or small, a legacy pledge helps toward guaranteeing that these treasures in our community are sustainable and will continue beyond your lifetime.

Periodic gatherings will be held to honor these visionary donors for their commitment to the long-term success of the Center and Park. Discussions are rich in history and inspiration for the future.

If you would like more information about the Legacy Circle or would like to attend a future gathering, please contact us at 360-681-5635 or [email protected].
