Join us on Saturday, March 9, 2024 for a day of remembering the legacy of the Milwaukee Road (MILW) on the Olympic Peninsula, including the last few years of its existence as the Seattle & North Coast Railroad.
There will be presentations by Steve Haupf and Allen Miller, an update on the Restore the 4 project, and a reunion of railroad employees.
This event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Dungeness River Nature Center in Sequim and will be streamed online via Zoom. Attend in person or virtually! The MILW mainline went right through the building and the ex-MILW Dungeness River bridge is just out the back door of the facility as part of a pedestrian trail.
The event is sponsored by Cascade Rail Foundation, North Olympic History Center and Dungeness River Nature Center
