The River Center is excited to invite all kids (4-11 suggested) to our next Jr. Naturalist Program: Lasagna Mosaics!
A mosaic (mow-zay-ick) is artwork made of lots of tiny pieces. When we take time in nature, we see that it is also made of many different tiny pieces. From the animals to plants, to humans we are all needed to keep nature healthy. During this Jr. Naturalist we will talk a short hike looking at forest ecology, then create our own mosaics using lasagna noodles!
All supplies are provided, crafting/play clothes that can get dirty are recommended. Please RSVP so we can ensure we have enough supplies. $5 donation appreciated but not essential.
