Full STEAM ahead! 🚀

Are you looking for a class for your child that combines art, science, and technology? We have something special for you! Join our Creative Robotics program this April in Sequim and watch your child’s imagination come to life through hands-on building and coding.

Ages 10-14

6 sessions – Tuesdays 3:30-5:30pm (April 21, 28 and May 5, 12, 19, 26)

REGISTER HERE

Early Bird Special: Register by January 31st to secure the discounted rate of $150. After this date, standard tuition will be $195.

In this afterschool program, students will learn about the wildlife living in the Dungeness River Watershed area. Then they will choose one of the animals for their class project. They will be introduced to different cardboard building techniques and to the electronics kits, then bring the animals to life using motors, lights, code, and craft materials! Together, all the students’ robots will be part of an animated mural of the Dungeness River Wildlife, which will be on display at the Dungeness River Center for the public to see for a few weeks after the end of the class.

This is an introductory class! No prior coding or building experience is necessary.

To keep the cost of the class down, robotics kits and tablets will be provided for use during class time.

Students will be able to keep their creations minus the electronics!

Space is limited. If your child has their own device (laptop, Chromebook, or a Bluetooth-enabled tablet), please let us know via email: [email protected]. There are tablets students can borrow if needed.

Your gift supports River Center Education and Railroad Bridge Park.
