Doing some fall pruning? Set aside your trimmings to help with Nature Mart wreath making!

Wreath making is a favorite community tradition at the River Center’s annual Holiday Nature Mart, and this year we’re excited to expand it. To make that possible, we’ll need plenty of materials, which means we’ll need your help!

We’ll begin accepting wreath-making materials November 15–20 during business hours, so please hold onto your cuttings until then.
If you can’t bring materials to the Center, volunteers will be available to pick up donations from your home.

What we’re looking for:
🌿 Evergreen boughs (except hemlock), ivy, boxwood, salal
🌿 Eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary
🌿 Bay laurel, Oregon grape
🌿 Grape vines, Chinese lanterns
🌿 Dried grasses, strawflowers, teasel, lichen

Nature Mart is always the weekend before Thanksgiving and this year it will take place on Saturday, November 22nd 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 23rd 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
