Volunteers are an essential part of our team.
If you are interested in sharing your talents, knowledge and time, please fill out the corresponding form. Your application will automatically be entered into our Volgistics volunteer program.
After your application is received, our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you by phone or email to begin the process to become a volunteer.
We will set up a time that is convenient for you to be trained through One-on-One sessions as well as our Volunteer 101 Workshop: Introduction to the Basics. You will also have the opportunity to shadow one of our trained volunteers for a day or two until you are comfortable to be on your own.
If you want to be a Volunteer Naturalist in our Exhibit Room, you can attend the additional workshop: Volunteer 102/103 – Watershed Restoration and the Do’s and Don’ts.
If there are special events which require a training session, we will contact you and let you know.

River Center Greeter
Be a friendly face in the center, greet visitors and answer questions in the River Center especially on weekends and peak times.
Sign UpTeachers, Presenters & Guides
Take the public on informal walks at RRBP focusing on topics such as birds, plants, the river, the railroad, and many others.
Sign UpClassroom Programs
An opportunity to work with youth and assist with in-school programs and presentations.
Sign UpPark Stewards
Help out in our on-going removal of invasive species in the park. Help with planting and restoring native plants.
Sign UpProgram Support
Assist with getting the word out about our programs by hanging flyers around town and helping to gather support.
Sign UpSpecial Events
Help with River Festival, Dine on the Dungeness, and other big events in the park. We also need people to help represent the River Center at community events such as Irrigation Festival, Lavender Festival, and Sequim Farmers Market
