Practiced for centuries, tai chi consists of continuous, fluid and precisely controlled forms in a specific sequence. In recent years, study after study have proven the benefits of tai chi—particularly for active agers. Tai chi reduces stress, anxiety and depression, lowers blood pressure, lessens joint pain and much more. Come and try out this ancient health-enhancing practice in its intended setting—outdoors.
All mobility levels welcome. Wear loose fitting clothing and comfortable shoes. Bring layers. If the weather is poor, the class can be held inside.
Tai Chi is offered in a series. Instructor Connie encourages participants to sign-up for multiple classes, that way she can build on your practice with new moves. There will be a quick review of the core movements at the beginning of each lesson.
Upcoming class dates:
March 18
April 1
April 15
April 29
