Spring Strollers: Miles for the River

Fridays, May 2 – May 23, 2025 | 10:00 a.m.
Meet at Hurricane Coffee at the River (outdoor window)
Location: Railroad Bridge Park

Join us this May for Spring Strollers: Miles for the River, a fun and meaningful way to support the Dungeness River Nature Center! This is a peer-to-peer campaign led by longtime River Center supporter Lyn Muench, these easygoing Friday morning walks invite you to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and connect with nature while making a difference.

Each Friday from May 2 through May 23 at 10:00 a.m., meet at Hurricane Coffee at the River’s outdoor window to join a guided stroll through the trails of Railroad Bridge Park. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow nature lovers, stay active, and experience the beauty of spring along the Dungeness River.

The walks are free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to support the Spring Strollers fundraising campaign, which benefits the River Center’s educational programs and conservation efforts. For questions contact Lyn at  [email protected] or text 360-477-1972

What is a peer-to-peer campaign?
Peer-to-peer fundraising empowers community members to take the lead in raising funds for causes they care about. It’s a chance for friends, family, and neighbors to come together in creative and meaningful ways to raise awareness and support. Spring Strollers is a wonderful example of how our community can come together to make an impact.

Your gift supports River Center Education and Railroad Bridge Park.
