Dine on the Dungeness 2019

Fundraiser to support the Dungeness River Audubon Center and Railroad Bridge Park

The Dungeness River Audubon Center is hosting the 5thannual dinner on the historic bridge in Railroad Bridge Park, 2151 W. Hendrickson Road, in Sequim.

This event is sure to please all the senses. Whether a nature lover, a foodie, an appreciator of historic architecture or just looking for a unique way to spend an evening, everyone will want to participate in this exclusive event open to a limited number of guests each year. Join us for this unique opportunity that only comes around once a year, where fine dining meets the Dungeness River, atop of the historic Dungeness River railroad trestle bridge. This intimate gathering has become a tradition among participants because of the unforgettable view, the everlasting impressions and the delectable experience of dining on one of the last remaining ‘timber Howe through truss’ railroad bridges in Washington. An experience to last a life-time.

Event catered by Chef Michael McQuay, classically trained chef of Kokopelli Grill. On the menu will be fresh local Salmon barbecued on site with pineapple salsa, rosted red potatoes, ratatouille, and a house salad.  Dessert will be chocolate dipped coconut macroons and cookies from Sweet Beginings.

Open, family-style seating (6 top) on a reservation basis. Limited tickets available – $95 per person; full table purchase for $570.

We will be offering a limited number of exclusive “Couples Tables” for $300 per table which will include one bottle of wine or a growler of beer, dessert, flowers and seating on a private area of the bridge.  This section will also be the first in line to get their food.

The event will have a no-host wine and beer bar.

Event hosted by the Dungeness River Audubon Center a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire understanding, enjoyment and stewardship of the Olympic Peninsula’s unique natural and cultural resources, with emphasis on birds, rivers, fish and people.
