Become a member of the
Dungeness River Audubon Center
at Railroad Bridge Park!
Thousands of people enjoy the River Center and Railroad Bridge Park every year – to explore nature, exercise, walk and ride bikes along the Olympic Discovery Trail, picnic in the park, go fishing, and enjoy the scenic beauty.
Railroad Bridge Park is not a city or county park – it operates through the generosity of your memberships and donations to the Dungeness River Audubon Center.
The park is operated by the River Center and its partners, the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society, and Audubon Washington.
We hope that you will join us!
Volunteers are an essential part of our team. If you’re interesting in sharing your time and talents, please fill out the form below and turn it in to the office.
The Dungeness River Audubon Center, and its partners, the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society, and the National Audubon Society, are creating a legacy on the north Olympic Peninsula for generations to come.
We are delighted by the numbers of people who visit and use the Park and the Center. However, the demand for classes, environmental education, and safe accessible recreation spaces has outpaced the Center’s ability to meet these vital community needs.
- Cash Gifts are the most direct and effective way to support ongoing operations and maintenance of the Center and Park.
- Sustained Giving – Even an affordable amount, such as $10/month, can help. Contact the Center at 360-681-4076.
Charitable gifts benefit both the donor and the River Center. There are tax benefits from monetary and other giving options such as your will or trust, insurance beneficiary, IRA distributions, stocks and bonds, property, homes, vehicles, and memorial and honorary gifts. Contact the Executive Director at 360-681-4076 or email rivercenter
In 2013, the Dungeness River Audubon Center established a Legacy Circle. Membership in the Circle is open to those members and donors who have included or intend to include the Center in their financial or estate plans. Such gifts sustain ongoing operations of the Center and Railroad Bridge Park and ensure that generations of children and adults will have an opportunity to learn the importance of protecting and enjoying the Olympic Peninsula’s unique natural and cultural resources.
Large or small, a legacy pledge helps toward guaranteeing that these treasures in our community are sustainable and will continue beyond your lifetime.
Periodic gatherings will be held to honor these visionary donors for their commitment to the long-term success of the Center and Park. Discussions are rich in history and inspiration for the future.
If you would like more information about the Legacy Circle or would like to attend a future gathering, please contact Julie Jackson at 360/683-1355 or email@example.com.
The River Center Legacy Fund was established to provide a perpetual source of income that helps sustain ongoing operations of the Center and Park. Your contributions to the Legacy Fund help ensure that generations of children and adults will have a chance to learn the importance of protecting and enjoying our natural places.
